New Student to Amridge University Incentive Program Fall 2008 Semester
Amridge University will provide a $150 tuition credit incentive for the first time Amridge student who makes application to the university and registers for the fall 2008 semester.

 

Amridge University First–time Freshman Scholarship Programs (Fall 2008 – Summer 2009)

Amridge University provides the following scholarship to First-time Freshman Students: Undergraduate First-time Freshman Scholarship Program Recipient must meet the following criteria: • First-time Amridge University Freshman • No previous college • Maintain 2.0 GPA Scholarship - 25% off tuition Undergraduate First-time Freshman Continuing Achievement Scholarship Program Recipient must meet the following criteria: • First-time freshman who has completed 6 courses at Amridge University • Maintain 3.0 GPA per semester Scholarship - 35% off of tuition Guidelines for Institutional Scholarships Amridge University based scholarships cannot be combined. If eligible for more than one scholarship, Amridge will award the highest scholarship amount. Scholarships, discounts and grants will only be applied toward the cost of tuition. No student will be awarded a scholarship unless his account from previous terms is paid in full. Required documentation must be received in the financial aid office before the scholarship will be applied to the student’s account.

 

 

Amridge University Undergraduate Institutional Tuition Grant Program (Fall 2008 – Summer 2009)

Amridge University provides the following Institutional Tuition Grant Amridge University Undergraduate Institutional Tuition Grant Program Recipient must meet the following criteria:

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program

• Enrolling fulltime fall 2008, spring 2009 and/or summer 2009 Grant - $150 tuition grant for each eligible semester (Can be combined with other scholarship)

Guidelines for Institutional Scholarships/Grants Scholarships, discounts and grants will only be applied toward the cost of tuition. No student will be awarded a scholarship/grant unless his account from previous terms is paid in full.

 

Amridge University Undergraduate Academic Scholarship Program (Fall 2008 - Summer 2009)

Amridge University provides the following Academic Scholarship to Undergraduate Students: Undergraduate Academic Scholarship Program Recipient must meet the following criteria:

• current undergraduate student enrolled at least half time

• 3.5 GPA per semester Scholarship - $250 tuition award to be applied to the next enrolled semester’s tuition (this award can be combined with the Institutional Tuition Grant) Requirement - Student must complete the Undergraduate Academic Scholarship Form online Guidelines for Institutional Scholarships Amridge University based scholarships cannot be combined. If eligible for more than one scholarship, Amridge will award the highest scholarship amount. Scholarships, discounts and grants will only be applied toward the cost of tuition. No student will be awarded a scholarship unless his account from previous terms is paid in full.

 

Amridge University Transition Institution Award (Fall 2008 - Summer 2009)
Demonstrating how much we value our students who select to continue their education at Amridge after completing their bachelor’s degree, Amridge University offers the following award: Transition Institution Award $600 Comprehensive Fee will be waived the first semester enrolled in a graduate program (Can be combined with other scholarship) Recipient must meet the following criteria:

• Enrolled in a graduate degree program within three semesters of completing an Amridge bachelor’s degree

• Unconditionally admitted to the graduate program

 

Junior Colleges - Amridge University 2 Year College Scholarship Program (Fall 2008 – Summer 2009)

Amridge University provides the following scholarship to 2 Year College Graduates: 2 Year College Graduate Scholarship Program Recipient must meet the following criteria:

• Completion of AA, AS, or AAS at a regionally accredited 2 year college Amount of academic credit accepted is based on the articulation agreement and/or transfer credit policies of Amridge University Scholarship - 10% off tuition for first bachelor’s degree Guidelines for Institutional Scholarships Amridge University based scholarships cannot be combined. If eligible for more than one scholarship, Amridge will award the highest scholarship amount. Scholarships, discounts and grants will only be applied toward the cost of tuition. No student will be awarded a scholarship unless his account from previous terms is paid in full. Required documentation must be received in the financial aid office before the scholarship will be applied to the student’s account.

 

Junior Colleges - Amridge University Alabama Community College Faculty & Staff Scholarship Program (Fall 2008 – Summer 2009)

Amridge University provides the following scholarship to Alabama Community College Faculty and Staff: Alabama Community College Faculty and Staff Scholarship Program Recipient must meet the following criteria: • current fulltime employee of an Alabama Community College • employed for minimum of 1 year prior to applying for scholarship • provide letter of employment from Human Resources Department of the community college Scholarship - 25% off of tuition for first Amridge University degree Alabama Community College Employee’s Spouse/Dependent Scholarship Program Recipient must meet the following criteria: • employee must have been employed for a minimum of 1 year prior to applying for scholarship • provide letter of employment from president of the community college • spouse must provide proof of marriage • dependent must provide proof of relationship Scholarship - 10% off of tuition for first Amridge degree This scholarship may apply to residents in other states. Contact Amridge University for further information (800-351-4040) Guidelines for Institutional Scholarships Amridge University based scholarships cannot be combined. If eligible for more than one scholarship, Amridge will award the highest scholarship amount. Scholarships, discounts and grants will only be applied toward the cost of tuition. No student will be awarded a scholarship unless his account from previous terms is paid in full. Required documentation must be received in the financial aid office before the scholarship will be applied to the student’s account. This scholarship applies to the first bachelor's degree conferred.

 

Amridge University Scholarship for Home School Student (Fall 2008 – Summer 2009)

Amridge University provides the following scholarship to Home School Students: Scholarship for Home School Student Recipient must meet the following criteria: • Home School graduate • First-time Amridge University Freshman Scholarship - 25% off tuition Home School Freshman Continuing Achievement Scholarship Recipient must meet the following criteria: • First-time freshman who has completed 6 courses at Amridge University • 3.0 GPA per semester Scholarship - 35% off of tuition Guidelines for Institutional Scholarships Amridge University based scholarships cannot be combined. If eligible for more than one scholarship, Amridge will award the highest scholarship amount. Scholarships, discounts and grants will only be applied toward the cost of tuition. No student will be awarded a scholarship unless his account from previous terms is paid in full. Amridge University Sister Institution Scholarship Program (Fall 2008 - Summer 2009)

Demonstrating how much we value our sister institutions, Amridge University provides the following scholarship: Sister Institution Scholarship 50% off regular tuition rate per semester for first non-doctoral degree Recipient must meet the following criteria: Current fulltime faculty or staff, their spouse, or their dependents at a Church of Christ affiliated university, college, or academy Employment of at least one year at Sister Institution Provide a letter annually from the Academic Dean of the University, or College or Headmaster of the Academy verifying fulltime employment and length of employment Spouse must provide proof of marriage Dependent must provide proof of relationship Guidelines for Scholarships Amridge University based scholarships cannot be combined. If eligible for more than one scholarship, Amridge will award the highest scholarship amount. Scholarships, discounts and grants will only be applied toward the cost of tuition. No student will be awarded a scholarship unless his account from previous terms is paid in full.
